The research question in this action research was, what beliefs and perspectives do adolescent readers have about the learning community culture that increases reading motivation? Based on Johnson\u27s (2012) qualitative research paradigm and rationale of systematic observations to understand adolescent beliefs, this action research documents one teacher\u27s creation and experience of the perspectives and beliefs that adolescents have about the learning community culture and what motivates them to increase reading within the classroom.
