This capstone is to provide children\u27s stories, targeted for early childhood with an emphasis on increasing oral language development skills in the Hmong language. This project also prepares students to share their oral language skills, personal, cultural, and historical identity with one another. The project consists of cultural folktales and myths story books with small readers. Some books consist of repeated texts and others build in more opportunities for text responding. Eight story books were written and created as read aloud or in guided groups. This capstone is the start to many research and creations about oral language development in the Hmong language.
