The research question addressed is, how does implementing effective literacy practices into reader\u27s workshop impact ELL students language development in a mainstream third grade classroom? The motivating factor for this capstone was a concern that ELL students are not able to fully participate in and benefit from reader\u27s workshop because of their limited English language proficiency.
