The research topic addressed in this project is, introducing stability balls into a kindergarten classroom to determine on-task behavior and student perceptions of the balls. The stability balls were used in place of standard classroom chairs for two weeks and documents the student on-task behavior as well as student perceptions of the balls at the end of two weeks. Findings show that there was an increase in on-task behavior when the students were sitting on the stability balls compared to when students were on chairs. Student and parent questioners were used to determine student perceptions.
