The research question addressed in this project is, how can technology be effectively employed to promote inquiry in the high school science classroom? The study was inspired by the research of Ebenezer et al. (2011) regarding student use of technology in inquiry. The research utilized elements of Apple\u27s Challenge-Based Learning (2008) to foster increases in technological literacy, scientific inquiry skills, content knowledge, enthusiasm for content, and self-esteem. The capstone discusses benefits for teachers, as well as obstacles for effective implementation.
