This capstone shows how the school I teach at uses the Everyday Mathematics curriculum in their 6th year of the program. Teachers were surveyed and given open response questions on how they used different components of the curriculum, their feelings toward the spiral pacing of Everyday Mathematics, how effectively Everyday Mathematics reaches the top and bottom 20% of learners, and how supportive the district is of the curriculum. These findings show how each teacher enacts their own math curriculum and how this affects student understanding.
