This study investigated how mainstream teachers and ESL teachers are currently implementing best practices of co-teaching in their classrooms according to literature and how teachers are managing this implementation of co-teaching. Two ESL teachers, one mainstream math teacher, and four mainstream language arts teachers participated in the study. These teachers completed a questionnaire and then participated in a focus group. The questionnaire and focus group contained questions about co-teaching that related to the necessary components of co-teaching.
