Pachios, Harold oral history interview

Harold “Hal” Pachios was born July 12, 1936 in New Haven, Connecticut and grew up in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. He attended CEHS, Kent School (CT), Princeton, and Georgetown Law. He served for two years on a Navy transport ship, worked for the Peace Corps Organization as a congressional liaison, then held many different positions in the government including working for the Democratic National Committee, VISTA, White House Staff (as associate White House press secretary), Department of Transportation, and Muskie\u27s vice presidential campaign. He later practiced law in Portland, Maine
