PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DENGAN PENDEKATAN INKUIRI TRHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 PACET PADA MATERI PERPINDAHAN KALOR

Research about the application of cooperative learning in STAD type with inquiry approach to student learning outputs at SMP Negeri 1 Pacet has purpose to describe the application’s result of cooperative learning in STAD type with inquiry approach to student learning outputs and to describe the student’s response about application of cooperative learning in STAD type with inquiry approach. The research use randomized control group pretest posttest design. Population of the research are students in seventh great which contains from seven classes, while sample are three experiment classes (VII E, VII F, and VII G) also a control once (VII C). Pretest is analysed by normality and homogenity test, while posttest is analysed by t-test. Based on analysis, summarized that application’s result of cooperative learning in STAD type with inquiry approach to student learning outputs better than application’s result of usual learning at school and student’s response about application of cooperative learning in STAD type with inquiry approach is positive. Penelitian yang berjudul penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pacet pada materi perpindahan kalor bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan inkuiri. Desain penelitian ini adalah randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pacet yang terdiri dari tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari tiga kelas eksperimen (VII E, VII F, dan VII G) dan satu kelas kontrol (VII C). Hasil pretest dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, sedangkan hasil posttest dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan inkuiri pada materi perpindahan kalor di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pacet lebih baik daripada penerapan pembelajaran yang biasa diterapkan di sekolah dan hasil angket respons siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan inkuiri pada materi perpindahan kalor adalah positif.
