ADHD is not just a condition associated with childhood – it is also a condition found in adults, including parents. Parents who have this condition may present several types of child welfare issues including difficulty in providing consistent care including supervision, discipline, maintaining healthy relationships, structure, and nurturing behaviors that may be at least in part attributed to their own ADHD management needs.
