PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN OPERASI HITUNG PECAHAN PADA ANAK TUNARUNGU

Abstract A counting operation ability of fraction number was children’s ability in comparing two cardinal numbers to the divider not zero which was stated in ab (b was not zero). If the hindrance in counting operation of fraction number to hearing impairment children was not handled soon the children would get disorder in applying concept of fraction number in daily activity. The hearing impairment children were those who had less or lost hearing ability which was caused by the damage or malfunction of a part or whole hearing instrument. The purpose of this research was to observe whether there was influence toward counting operation ability to hearing impairment children before and after giving intervention using realistic mathematic approach to the fourth class of hearing impairment children in SDLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya or not. The time used in this research was 10 times meeting with 8 times intervention. The research design used was one group pre test post test design with 6 children as the subject. The data collection method was done by test and documentation. The data analysis was statistic non parametric by using sign test. From the research result which was then analyzed by sign test formula it was obtained Z counted 2,05 while Z table in 5% significant for one side test (Zt=1,64) while two sides test (Zt=1,96) so that Ho was refused (1,64<2,05>1,96). Based on the explanation above it could be concluded that there was significant influence of realistic mathematic approach toward counting operation ability of fraction number to the fourth class of hearing impairment children in SDLB-B Karya Mulia II Surabaya.
