NATURAL APPROACH TERHADAP PERKEMBANGANKOSAKATA SISWA TUNARUNGU TKLB-B

Abstract; Their low language skill affects their communicative skill. This is apparent in deaf students' vocabulary development. This research applies the natural approach to find out the effect of natural approach for the deaf children’s vocabularies development at Karya Mulia IV Inclusive Kindergaten school B Surabaya.This research is a pre experiment quantitative research by using one group pre testpost test design. Test are used the data collecting method. Test is used to collect the data of listening skill before and after the deaf students are given the action. The action is given in 14 meeting. Each meeting consists of 2x3o meetings. The learning material given are 20 vocabularries vocabulary base is comprised of 4 themes: animals, fruit, body and color . The data analysis techniques are non parametric analysis and sign test. Results of data analysis using the formula sign test on the effect of a natural approach to the development of deaf students are Ztabel Zh = 2.05 and = 1.96 at 5% significance level. It is proved that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that "There is a significant effect of the use of the Natural Approach to the Development of Vocabulary Deaf students at KaryaMulia IV inclusive Kindergarten B Surabaya”.Keywords : natural approach, vocabularies developmen
