Tosa Joruri "Hiraganataizen" is based on the "Kamatamono," but is drastically changed from it. The most prominent changes concern the royalty of Kamata\u27s wife and the activities of Tametomo. These changes show the influence of the characters and scenes which were popular in Ko-joruri and which have been brought over into "Hiraganataizen." This play is uch based on the classics and as such plays an important role in the reform of Shin-joruri
