RELATIONSHIP OF HEMOGLOBIN, HEMATOCRIT AND PLATELETS IN DBD PATIENTS

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito. DHF is a health problem in the world today, including Indonesia. In DHF patients plasma leakage occurs which results in homocentration resulting in an increase in hemoglobin and hematoctrite levels. This research is a quantitative analytic study with a cross sectional research design on 30 DHF patients in Padang Panjang Hospital. The study was conducted from May 29 to July 5, 2017. Examination of hemoglobin using the calorimetry method, meanwhile examination of hematocrit and platelets by the impedance method. The results were analyzed by Pearson correlation test. Based on this study it was found that the average hemoglobin level of patients was 13.99 gr / dl ± SD, the average hematocrit value was 41.50 ± SD, the average platelet count of patients was 61066.67 ± SD. Based on statistical tests with Pearson correlation, there was a significant correlation between hemoglobin and platelet levels of patients and there was no significant relationship between hematocrit and platelet values ​​of DHF patients in Padang Panjang Hospital
