TERAPI GUIDED IMAGERY EFEKTIF MENURUNKAN FREKUENSI POLANAFAS PASIEN ASMA BRONKIAL EKSASERBASI AKUT

Acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma is an acute episode of asthma attacks increase in sh.ortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, tightness in the chest or a combination of these symptoms. Guided imagery therapy performed by patients with asthma can balance the activity of the autonomic nervous system in patients and decrease shortness of breath. Bronchial asthma disease was ranked 5th most disease in Lubuk Sikaping Hospital. The purpose of this study: to identify Effect of Guided Imagery Therapy Effectiveness Of Bronchial Asthma Patients Breathing Patterns of Acute Exacerbation in ER Hospital Lubuk Sikaping Year 2017. This research method using Quasi-Experimental research design approach resert One group pretest - posttest disign, then the data is processed by using Paired test. This study was conducted on June 10 to July 10, 2017. The sample of 16 respondents.The results of this study the data obtained p value of 0.000 that there is influence on the effectiveness of guided imagery therapy breathing patterns acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma patients in hospitals Lubuk Sikaping Year 2017. The conclusion & commend: that guided imagery therapy is effective in patients of acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma.
