HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN PERAWAT, KEMAMPUAN KEBIJAKAN RS. FASE RESPON BENCANA IGD RS.YARSI BUKITTINGGI

Knowledge and skills are needed in providing services to disaster victims. This is because it does not have the maximum ability in handling this phase of disaster response. Nurses are required to be able and have readiness in the field and in the hospital. Many factors affect the nurse's preparedness in the implementation of the disaster response phase and the ability and the policy. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to conduct research on the knowledge, capability and policy of the hospital. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship understanding, ability and policy of the hospital room emergency room installation Hospital Islamic Ibn Sina Yarsi Bukittinggi. This research is a descriptive type with cross sectional approach with total sample of 24 nurses. Instruments used in questionnaire research. Result: from result of analysis got equal to 85%, nursing ability 45%, hospital policy 66,7% in implementation of disaster response phase. From this study concluded there is a significant relationship with. With p value = 0.001. There is no relationship of knowledge and hospital policy with the implementation of disaster response phase. Suggested to the hospital is nursing field management in order to be able to motivate and optimize various activities and training especially the implementation of disaster management
