TERAPI MUSIK KLASIK (ALUNAN PIANO) MENURUNKAN INTENSITAS NYERI PADA PASIEN POST OPERASI

Surgery is an act of opening or removing body tissues that can change the structure andfunction of the body so as to cause pain as the main problem due to incision of surgery, This study aims to determine the effect of classical music therapy (strains of piano) to decrease the intensity of pain in patients Post Operation at Surgical Ward of Achmad Mochtar Hospital in Bukittinggi. This research type is Quasy Experiment with approach of one group pre test post test,, sampling in this study using Accidental Sampling technique to get 17 respondents. Data collection in this study used an observation sheet of pain. The results showed that there was an effect of giving classical music therapy (piano strain) to pain level (p = 0,000) postoperative patients. It can be concluded that giving classical music therapy (strains of piano) is effective in reducing pain intensity in postoperative patients. For it is expected to all parties, especially nurses and families of patients to always provide nursing care support to patients in reducing the intensity of post surgery pain, one of them with the provision of classical music therapy (strains of piano) that proved effective against the decrease in pain intensit
