Learning to live together in school is one of the basic objects of the Spanish education system. The aim of this paper is to analyze the social competence of primary school students from the autonomous city of Melilla (Spain) with different socio-cultural characteristics. In order to carry this out, 546 students from two public schools with different social and cultural characteristics took part in the study. The S2 Scale of the Behavioral Assessment Scale for Children and Adolescents (BASC) was the data collection instrument used.
