Citation Generators: Generating bibliographies for the next generation

The proper use of appropriate citation formats to acknowledge the work of other researchers and writers is a standard theme in information literacy instruction. Faculty and graduate students have used pc-based personal bibliographic citation management programs, such as EndNote, to help with this task. Recently, free or inexpensive Web-based tools have been developed that create citations and format bibliographies.
