Buildings are constructed to meet serviceability requirement. It is important to construct buildings with proper analysis and design, so that it serves for its design life without showing any failure. This paper presents the response of the buildings by taking the effect of seismic and wind load and among them the governing load for each example buildings to carry out design and detailing, is studied. Response parameters i.e. storey displacement, storey drift, time period, storey shear are also calculated. Concrete and steel required for beam and column are obtained to evaluate structural cost of each example buildings
