Evolutionary Process of Babylonian Mathematics (2500 BC–100 BC)

The origin of mathematics traces back since ancient period on the phenomenon of counting. For such counting, people used to apply thumbs, some other types of symbols/figures e.g. making use of stones, pebbles, sticks, marker as felt necessary for their purposes to be served. This primitive way of thinking to count may be considered as the first spark of germination to build the pathway of evolutionary process of mathematics. It is considered that those ancient people had shown the way to represent such counting process in writing form. Therefore, we can arrive at a conclusion that the beginning of writing form is none other than mathematics. Form various gathered sources one can apprehend that such requirement of counting was the most essential part of day-to-day living in the area of trade, commerce, astronomy, architecture etc., in various places of the world.
