This covers various building materials from mud, lime, bamboo etc. to the in-depth detail of usage and with all implications associated. All the buildings occupied by humans respond to need and situation. Thus, reception of these traditional energy efficient building materials experienced by the existing timeless architecture makes a huge difference in our mindset to direct the thought process towards theevolutionary change with the celebration of our traditional ancient techniques and materials and at the same time modified the approach to cater the needs and aspirations of today’s built environment. The renewable aspects of the same are understood with deep conviction inthis attempt. Also, ecological balance is the focus to explore these building materials so that they may gain the importance in the main stream again to be used in construction practices such that their lost identity is retrieved back
