Tennessee State University Students\u27 Perceptions of Capital Punishment

The main question is does the demographic of gender, classification, religion, and ideology influence Tennessee State University Students Perceptions of capital punishment dictates. I gathered information by conveniently surveying Tennessee State Students around campus. Some of the questions I would like to gather answers from are: how do you feel about capital punishment? If someone close to you was a victim of a heinous crime, would you want the death penalty for the person who committed that crime? Versus If someone close to you committed a heinous crime, would you want the death penalty for them? As well as questions like how does capital punishment help or hurt our society. This will be a good opportunity to view this topic from many different aspects, considering each person will have their own reasons and their beliefs. This is a good qualitative question because gathering people’s opinions on a topic that has a lot of mixed emotions. I will be able to come up with a percentage based on how many people agree or disagree based on their gender, classification, and religion
