The goal of the research was to determine the relationship between test anxiety and motivation. One hundred and thirty seven psychology students participated, both male and female. The Speed of Thinking Test (1992) and the Sarason Test Anxiety Scale (1958) were used during the experiment. The purpose of this research was to determine whether people who have test anxiety perform better or worse when they are in a situation offering high incentives to do well. A 2 x 2 ANOVA test was conducted. In conclusion it was found a significance existed between test anxiety and motivation, at F=5.13, p=.05
