ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA BREGADA PRAJURIT KERATON YOGYAKARTA

Culture is the result of the activity and the creation of the human mind (mind) such as trust, art, and customs. Culture can be used as a contextual learning material that will support students' understanding of learning materials. The importance of learning mathematics is associated with culture, in answer to problems students tend to use less of their knowledge to evaluate, analyze, and solve life problems. The city of Yogyakarta that holds the predicate of the city of students and the city of culture is certainly very appropriate if the aspects of culture exist in any learning, especially mathematics. The purpose of this study is to explore the aspects of ethnomatematics that exist in the bregada of Yogyakarta palace soldiers in relation to the material set. In this study the method used is by reviewing the related literature. The results showed that the ethnomatmatics aspects existed in the bregada of Yogyakarta palace soldiers
