The purpose of this article is to provide a brief overview of cooperative learning model, especially the tipe of think pair share (TPS)to improve student’s mathematics learning achievement. In this leasson the teacher does not monopolize all learning activities from the beginning to the end of the leasson but the teacher plays more role a facilitator, motivator, and guide as well as ready to perfect all the answers of questions posed by group members one to another group. Various research resuls have been carried out primarily in mathematics leassons and generally it can be concluded that the model of thingking pair share can improve student’s mathematics learning achievement
