QOLD評価測定尺度に関する基礎的研究(VII) : QOL測定尺度は青年の実存的痛みを測定できるか

Generally, QOL scaling is an ill-defined term today. Recently, WHO has placed special emphasis on spirituality (the so-called spiritual existential attitude). However, since an attempt is being made to measure something that is ill-defined, unobservable and latent in QOL scaling, it can only be inferred that the instrument is valid only insofar as it correlates a spiritual existential attitude with other observable behavior. Since 1997, the author has studied the problem of how to make a QOLD scale consisting of the intensity of latent anxiety toward death within youth(especially university students). The inevitable death of all persons poses a serious challenge to the meaningfulness of human existence. The purpose of this study is to make a QOLD scale for especially university students majoring in social welfare. Hypothetical space is considered and one-dimensional scaling is found to include excellent welfare for people on a medium scale. What remains to be discussed is the problem of this scaling with vaｌidity from viewpoints in the field of statistical psychological matter
