Generally, QOL scaling is an ill-defined term today. Recently, WHO has placed special emphasis on spirituality (the so-called spiritual existential attitude). However, since an attempt is being made to measure something that is ill-defined, unobservable and latent in QOL scaling, it can only be inferred that the instrument is valid only insofar as it correlates a spiritual existential attitude with other observable behavior.
