Knowledge management and the relationship between the management and computing disciplines in the publications of Social Sciences Citation Index (2001-2010)

This paper presents the results of a bibliometric analysis of scientifc publications about the systems and technologies for knowledge management during the period 2001-2010 in the database ISI Web of Knowledge and indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index. The aim of this survey is to describe and analyze the trend of publications, identify key scientifc contributions and verify the relationship between the Administration and the Disciplines of Computer when it comes to knowledge management, serving as a guide for future research. The results presented in this survey may be useful for future research, serving as a reference about trends in scientifc productivity, authors, institutions and countries leaders in the area of knowledge management, this survey identifes himself emerging topics and its relationship to other indicators and areas of expertise, which can lead to further research.Se presentan los resultados de un análisis bibliométrico realizado a las publicaciones científcas acerca de los sistemas y tecnologías para la gestión del conocimiento durante el periodo de 2001-2010 en la base de datos ISI Web of Knowledge e indexadas en el Social Sciences Citation Index. El objetivo de este estudio es describir y analizar la tendencia de las publicaciones, identifcar las publicaciones más infuyentes y constatar la relación entre las áreas de Administración y las Disciplinas de la Computación cuando se habla de gestión de conocimiento. Los resultados presentados en este estudio pueden ser de gran utilidad a futuras investigaciones, sirviendo como marco de referencia acerca de tendencias en productividad científca, autores, instituciones y países lideres en el área de la gestión de conocimiento, así mismo este estudio identifca tópicos emergentes y su relación con otros indicadores y áreas de conocimiento, lo cual puede dar origen a futuras investigaciones
