En el proceso de cracking catalítico fluidizado (FCC) un aceite combustible pesado se descompone a hidrocarburos más ligeros. En este artículo se referencian comparativamente los distintos modelos cinéticos disponibles en la literatura y se discute someramente sobre su validez. AbstractIn the fluid catalytic cracking plant heavy gas oil is cracked into more valuable ligther hydrocarbon products. In this paper the most commonly used kinetic models are described in a comparative way in order to set up the main kinetic parameters. These models use the lumping compound theory to simplify the complex kinetics of the process. For simulation purposes, the simplest model agree the actual data well
