LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVE AMENDMENT. Amends the Chiropractic Act to require annual renewal of chiropractic licenses during a licensee\u27s month of birth rather than on January 1 of each year. Increases penalties for unlawful practice of chiropractic and violation of the Chiropractic Act. Minimum fine is increased from $50 to $100. Maximum fine is increased from $250 to $750. Possible imprisonment increased from a minimum of 30 days and maximum of 90 days to a maximum of six months without specification of a minimum.
