INITIATIVE/REFERENDUM PETITIONS. INTERNET POSTING. INITIATIVE STATUTE. A proponent may request the Attorney General to post an initiative/referendum petition on the Internet. With specified exceptions, the Internet and non Internet petitions for an initiative/referendum shall contain the same information. The Attorney General shall require a nonrefundable fee to defray the cost of posting Internet petitions. A person who wishes to sign an Internet petition may contact the county election officer to obtain a signature postcard.
