LEGISLATIVE OFFICES AND CAMPAIGN FUNDS. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. This measure amends the state Constitution to establish that after December 5, 1988, no person may hold the office of President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker of the Assembly for a cumulative period of service of more than two years. The measure also declares campaign funds of candidates for state or local office to be held in trust for candidate\u27s campaign expenses and prohibits candidates from using campaign funds to fund another candidate\u27s campaign.
