The aim of the current study was to examine the relationship between the Dark Tetrad personality traits (sadism, narcissism, psychopathy and Machiavellianism), social reward (negative social potency specifically), the HEXACO Personality Inventory traits (Honesty- Humility, Emotionality, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness and Openness) and Facebook trolling behaviour. A total of 147 participants (87.1% female) completed an online questionnaire which included The Global Assessment of Facebook Trolling, The Dirty Dozen, The Short Sadistic Impulse Scale, Social Rewards Questionnaire and HEXACO PI-R.
