This study was conducted to assess the effects of smartphone use on driving performance during simulated driving. Forty individuals aged 19 to 40 years old (M = 24) took part in the study. Participants went through four conditions of smartphone assignments during simulated driving, that included texting and the use of Snapchat, Facebook and navigation system application. All participants had valid drivers license and used their own personal smartphone. The results confirmed all three hypotheses of the study.
