Drug dependence was one of the most common social damages in Iran. The main aim of study was the assessment of mental health and quality of life of addicts who were under methadone maintenance treatment in three-month period in Anar, Iran. 2013. This was a descriptive and causal-comparative study the statistical population is all of addict in Bandar Abbas, 100 drug dependents that were referred to the medical clinic and treated by methadone maintenance were selected by random sampling and they were measured with WHO-QOL-BREF, GHQ-28 questionnaire.
