According to the problems mentioned, they have implemented mechanisms which help to improve processes in organizations, which act effectively and efficiently on their economic, environmental and social aspects. These mechanisms used today are the closest to an active sustainable development in organizations, this is where the Global Reporting or better known as Global Reporting lnitiative (GRI) measure the economic, social and environmental behavior within organizations and universities, the which help to better decision-making, justas the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is very important because this helps companies determine as being sustainable with the environment, with its staff and stakeholders. Thus, the Free University has decided to prepare a preliminary report of the Sustainability Report (GRI) in the year 2015, where based on the year 2014 for processing, it is analyzing economic, social and environmental aspects of the University. This is being coordinated by the research group teaching Territory, Environment and Education and the company Ecossistemas, with support from research assistants Public Accounting program, and students of Environmental Engineering program. In the process of developing the sustainability report has been identified as the profession of Public Accountant is so important in making decisions on environmental issues, they act as managers of environmental changes that take place in organizations and educational institutions, like help demonstrate whether the decisions were positive or negative in the quality of life of society and the environment. lt is from here that the CPA profession has had to be viewed in full in the organization, not only analyzing financia! statements, but to integrate an environmental and social management in them and in theirfinal reports, allowing for the Sustainable Development in the organization. This will act directly in their goals and objectives, which should focus on maintaining a balance between the human need to improve their physical and emotional state, generating profits and resources within companies and conservation of natural resources and ecosystems that sustain life for present and future generations. CPA's commitment to Sustainable Development should be part of their ideals of responsibility to society.En los últimos tiempos las organizaciones han priorizado en sus objetivos y metas la obtención de ganancias, haciendo que el consumidor sea una de sus excusas para fabricar productos perjudiciales para la naturaleza y la sociedad. Es así que para llegar al cumplimiento de los objetivos y metas propuestas se están originando desigualdades sociales, sobreexplotación de recursos, competencias desleales, a tal punto que se está reflejando una pérdida de compromiso y cumplimiento de todos los profesionales sobre las normas ambientales. Esta problemática ha llegado a cuestionar la gestión organizacional y profesional que se tiene en las empresas y universidades, en la cual no solo se deben tomar y medir decisiones en lo económico, sino también en lo social y ambiental, donde se debe actuar eficaz y eficientemente para mejorar la gestión que se está dando frente a los recursos naturales y económicos para el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los asociados. De acuerdo a la problemática mencionada, se han implementado mecanismos que ayuden a mejorar los procesos en las organizaciones, donde actúen eficaz y eficientemente sobre sus aspectos económicos, ambientales y sociales. Estos mecanismos usados hoy en día, son los más cercanos a un desarrollo sustentable activo en las organizaciones. Es aquí donde los Reportes Globales o más conocidos como Global Reporting lnitiative (GR!) miden el comportamiento económico, social y ambiental dentro de las organizaciones y universidades, los cuales ayudan a una mejor toma de decisiones. De igual manera la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) es muy importante ya que esta ayuda a que las empresas determinen cómo están siendo sustentables con el ambiente, con su personal y sus grupos de interés. Es así como la Universidad Libre decidió elaborar un Informe preliminar del Reporte de Sostenibilidad (GR!), en el transcurso del año 2015, donde se tomó como base el año 2014 para su elaboración; en él se están analizando aspectos económicos, sociales y ambientales de la Universidad. Este está siendo coordinado por la docente de investigación Grupo Territorio, Ambiente y Educación y la empresa Ecossistemas, con Universidad Libre apoyo de los auxiliares de investigación del programa de Contaduría Pública, y estudiantes del Programa de Ingeniería Ambiental. En el proceso de elaboración del reporte de sustentabilidad, se ha identificado cómo la profesión del Contador Público es tan importante en el momento de tomar decisiones en aspectos ambientales. Este actúa como gestor de los cambios ambientales que se realicen en las organizaciones e instituciones educativas, al igual que ayuda a demostrar si las decisiones tomadas fueron positivas o negativas en la calidad de vida de la sociedad y el ambiente. Es desde aquí que la profesión del Contador Público ha tenido que visualizarse en ser integral en la organización, no solo analizando estados financieros, sino en integrar un sistema de gestión ambiental y social en la misma y en sus informes finales, dando cabida al Desarrollo Sustentable en la organización. Ello permitirá actuar directamente en sus objetivos y metas, los cuales deberán enfocarse en mantener un equilibrio entre la necesidad del ser humano de mejorar su salud física y emocional, la generación de utilidades y recursos dentro de las empresas y la conservación de los recursos naturales y ecosistemas que sustentarán la vida presente y la de las futuras generaciones. El compromiso del Contador Público con el Desarrollo Sustentable debe ser parte de sus ideales de responsabilidad con la sociedad
