Análisis de la evolución teórica de la responsabilidad social empresarial

This article aims to analyze the theoretical evolution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to determine the different conceptions that have had up to the present. Corporate Social Responsibility has been understood as a key strategy by the organizations, to maintain the company-middle relationship in a stable way. Thus, it has been envisioned in recent years, that CSR has taken greater force worldwide, becoming one of the most discussed issues today. However, there are large conceptual variations on key points that affect the scope of CSR, allowing in practice, each organization adapts its different theories to their needs. In this sense, the need arises to approach this concept from a holistic dimension starting from the analysis of the different conceptions that have on this one. For this, methodologically, a bibliographic exploration was carried out from a descriptive approach, through the consultation of information in private and freely accessible databases, such as Redalyc, Scielo and Scopus; Making use of descriptors such as “Social Responsability”, “Corporate Social Responsibility”, “Social Responsability & theory” among others; The information was collected in bibliographic records that were systematically analyzed, arriving at the conclusion that over time theories have played an important role for the empirical development of responsible practices within the organizations, for which theoretical standardization Is important for the implementation of CSR to have a real impact on its results.El presente artículo pretende analizar la evolución teórica de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) para determinar las diferentes concepciones que se han tenido hasta la actualidad. La Responsabilidad Social Empresarial se ha comprendido como una estrategia clave por parte de las organizaciones, para mantener la relación empresa-medio de manera estable. Así, se ha vislumbrado en los últimos años, que la RSE ha tomado mayor fuerza a nivel mundial, convirtiéndose en uno de los temas más discutidos de la actualidad. Sin embargo, existen grandes variaciones conceptuales sobre puntos claves que afectan el alcance de la RSE, permitiendo que, en la práctica, cada organización adecue a sus necesidades las diferentes teorías. En este sentido, surge la necesidad de abordar este concepto desde una dimensión holística partiendo del análisis de las diferentes concepciones que se tienen sobre esta. Para ello, metodológicamente se realizó una exploración bibliográfica desde un enfoque descriptivo, por medio de la consulta de información en bases de datos privadas y de libre acceso, como Redalyc, Scielo y Scopus; haciendo uso de descriptores tales como “Social Responsability”, “Corporate Social Responsability”, “Social Responsability & theory” entre otras; se elaboraron fichas bibliográficas que se procedieron a analizar de forma sistemática, llegando a la conclusión que a través del tiempo las teorías han jugado un papel importante para el desarrollo empírico de prácticas responsables dentro de las organizaciones, por lo cual la estandarización teórica resulta importante para que la implementación de la RSE tenga un verdadero impacto en sus resultados
