This first notebook includes 21 pages of handwritten text on the Catholic liturgy. In the following pages, a variety of recipes are written, including Soufflé de coliflor, Chuletitas de ternera al horno, Huachinango a la kraft, Cebollas a la francesa, Canelones de atún, Strudel de manzana, Cacerola de atún y coditos, Caldo michi, Plato de lentejas, and many more.
