Response to Rev. Wesley Pruden's Segregationist Demands

Letter from Virgil Blossom to Baptist minister and segregationist leader Wesley Pruden answering several questions arising from integration of students at Central High School.- 3 - Rev. Wesley Pruden July 26, 1957 Question 7: "If the court shoud rule that negroes can force their way into the social lives of our children, would the School Board and Superintendent aid and abet the negroes in this matter, or would they stand behind the white people?" Answer: It is unwise to make projections on matters which do not exist. (Social functions which would involve race mixing will not be held.)
