San Antonio native and UTSA history professor Dr. Felix Almarez Jr. reviews his writings, including “Tragic Cavalier” about the Spanish administration of Texas from 1808 -1813, his biography of historian Carlos Eduardo Castaneda, his history of the San Antonio Little Theater and his collaborations with illustrator Jose Cisneros. Almarez also explains his concerns about “bad history” and the need for history to provide a perspective of the past that enables better decision making for the future
