We, the authors, conducted a survey focused on the interior climate and food customs of homes in summer. Along with the survey, we measured indoor temperatures, and conducted detailed research on the eating habits of Iwate\u27s residents. 1. From the questionnaire survey we guessed that the job for living, a family composition and a private farm products were related to the type of their meal. 2. It was thought that the correlation seen between the concentration of salt in soup which temperatures fluctuate in winter and the resident in the house were taking had exerted the influence on the food custom in summer. 3.
