Abstract

Lender notes: Photo location was on farm originally owned by Alfred Johnson (lender's grandfather) who bought it for $65 an acre and sold it to Emil Rydell in 1917 for $220 an acre. Lender's father, Andrew J. Franzen first leased the farm in 1913 following his marriage to Alfred Johnson's daughter, Signe Johnson, then leased it from Emil Rydell from 1917 until 1924 when he bought his own farm just north of Hutto, Texas.
