A history of the University of Scranton, (1888-1942)

It is a subject of interest, and an object of affection to many of the alumni and professors who have passed through its halls in the last seventy-four years. The University of Scranton is also of interest to the present administration, faculty, and student body of that institution as well as many other citizens of Scranton since it is a native institution which over the years has identified itself more and more with the city of Scranton. It is also of interest to many men in Northeastern Pennsylvania and other localities outside of Scranton since they received their education from it. For these reasons I chose "The History of the University of Scranton (1888-1942) as the subject of my thesis
