Formación de docentes para la educación superior

Claiming that the century thheat is opened is the one of the scientific rationality and the society of knowledge implies, on the one hand, that the "wealth of nations" no longer exists, as in other times, nor in the possession of the land, neither in the industrial advances and not even in the accumulation of capital, but in the information, the communications and the technology; and on the other, that the key of the access to that new universe is the education. For that reason, among all the sectors of the economy of a country, it is the one with the greatest transcendence and the one that requires the greatest efforts of financing and training of its social actors. There is in the world as an awareness that the possibilities of development depend on their progress in education and that only through them will open alternatives for social transformation tending to create more human communities, based on knowledge. Therefore, reasonable questions arise, particularly in countries with appreciable levels of backwardness, on the relevance, quality and equity of their educational systems and, although initiatives that aim to remedy these shortcomings can not be ignored, social returns are out of phase at a dramatic pace with the unmet needs, generating the decomposition of the social fabric. And we are referring precisely to the situation in our country, the incidence of this factor of education in the conjuncture of violence, corruption and moral autism that has led us the absence of a genuine national educational project (among the causes most determinants), with the consequences of becoming an unviable nation (as we have been declared internationally) and of exhausting our reserves of hope, identity and confidence in the construction of the future.Afirmar que el siglo que se abre es el de la racionalidad científica y de la sociedad del conocimiento implica, por una parte, que la «riqueza de las naciones» ya no radica, como en otras épocas, ni en la tenencia de la tierra, ni en los avances industriales y ni siquiera en la acumulación de capital, sino en la información, las comunicaciones y la tecnología, y por otra, que la clave del acceso a ese nuevo universo es la educación. Por ello, entre todos los sectores de la economía de un país, se constituye en el de mayor trascendencia y el que requiere mayores esfuerzos de financiación y de formación de sus actores sociales. Hay en el mundo como una conciencia de que las posibilidades de desarrollo dependen de sus progresos en educación y de que sólo a través de éstos se abrirán alternativas de transformación social tendientes a crear comunidades más humanas, fundamentadas en el conocimiento. Surgen por ello razonables cuestionamientos, en particular en países con apreciables niveles de atraso, sobre la pertinencia, calidad y equidad de sus sistemas educativos y, aunque no puedan desconocerse iniciativas que apuntan a remediar esas falencias, los rendimientos sociales se desfasan a un ritmo dramático con las necesidades no satisfechas, generando la descomposición del tejido social. Y estamos aludiendo precisamente a la situación de nuestro país, a la incidencia de ese factor de la educación en la coyuntura de violencia, de corrupción y de autismo moral a que nos ha conducido la ausencia de un auténtico proyecto educativo nacional (entre las causas más determinantes), con las consecuencias de convertimos en nación inviable (como se nos ha declarado intemacionalmente) y de agotar nuestras reservas de esperanza, de identidad y de confianza en la construcción de futuro
