Child labour is a common and socially accepted scenario in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh a large number of children are working as child labour.Child labour harms the health and welfare of the children. The main reason of existence of child labour is poverty. The international organizations like UN and ILO call for elimination of child labour and Bangladesh has also taken legal measures to address the child labour situation.This study aims to trace the present condition of child labour in Bangladesh,causes of child labour and legal framework to address child labour situation
