Plant based drugs are being used to control obesity as an alternative strategy to allopathic drugs and surgery.The present study was undertaken to observe the effect of different herbal formulations on obesity. The formulation comprised of honey mixed with juice extracts of plants like Malus domestica, Allium sativa, Zingiber officinale and Citrus limonum. Twenty volunteers were enrolled and they were given 10 ml of formulation for 90 days. It was observed that there was significant reduction in total body weight, BMI and waist circumference of the volunteers.
