Pengaruh Paparan Pestisida yang Mengandung Kadmium dan Pola Kebiasaan Petani Dusun Cangar terhadap Tekanan Darah dan Frekuensi Nadi

Introduction: One of the causes of cadmium accumulation in the body is the use of pesticides and an unhealthy lifestyle. The presence of cadmium in the human body will cause cardiovascular disease. This study aims to determine the effect of pesticide exposure and patterns of farmers habits on blood pressure and pulse frequency.Method: This study used an observational analytic descriptive method with Cross-Sectional type research design. This study used 47 human respondents with sample selection using purposive sampling technique. Respondents were male farmers who were still actively spraying pesticides. Data collection using questionnaires and blood pressure checks and pulse frequency.Results: Data obtained were carried out statistical tests using factorial ANOVA. The interaction of the effects of pesticide exposure and patterns of eating habits on blood pressure showed insignificant results (p> 0.05) while at the pulse frequency the results were significant (p 0.05).
