Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap Kemampuam Komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Ranah Pesisir N I Ranah Pesisir

The result of mathematics learning obtained by junior high school N 1 Ranah Pesisir is still low. This happens because the learning process is still centered on the teacher. In addition, the lack of mastery of prerequisite materials is also one of the obstacles that influence the low learning outcomes of students. One effort that can be done to overcome these problems is to use Think Pair share learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of Think Pair share learning model on students' mathematical communication skills, especially on building space. The study was conducted in two classes classified as experimental class and control class. In the experimental classroom learning is done by using the Think Pair share learning model. while in the classroom control learning is done without using conventional models. The research data was obtained from the result of the learning test which data analysis was done by using t test and anova 2 direction for different n. The result of data analysis shows that communication ability and student learning using Think Pair share learning model. higher than students whose learning uses the conventional mode
