The last few months of 2008 were an exciting time for Americans. The election of Barrack Obama uplifted the spirits of Americans everywhere. The phenomenon of cultural unity was evident during election season, but more importantly, the economy as a whole was strengthened during the holiday seasons, thus ringing in the New Year with hopes of cultural and economic change.
