ICT and the teaching of English as a foreign language represent contemporary educational demands. In this sense, the purpose of this article was oriented to analyze the reality of the teaching of English and ICT as a binomial required in the formation of the new generations in today's society. The study was based on the qualitative approach and is of a documentary type, where mostly electronic sources were taken. The results indicated that in the reality of the teaching of the English-ICT binomial there are elements that limit the use of the integration of these two areas of knowledge; such as the lack of digital infrastructure, teacher training and the provision of technological resources in schools.
